His parents are absolutely heartbroken about his disease, but they try to stay strong in front of their son. For some reason, brain cancer doesn't stop him and instead of falling into depression, Magnus keeps partying and smoking weed, claiming that he going to die one day anyways. What happens when Magnus meets a boy named Alexander Lightwood who just completed eye surgery and finally got his eye sight back after years of being blinded from a horrible accident? Alec has been having nightmares, and they're only getting worse. His instincts tell him to tell someone, but his gut refrains. Magnus is clueless about it all and slowly creates a strain on their relationship. -takes place in a different timeline from the one the books, to show and movie are set in, some aspects from the original source material may be added in- note- for simplicity the characters are based on those of the tv adaptation.

He really wasn't looking for anything more but when he finds a little girl waiting all alone in a coffee shop his life will change irremediably and maybe that's not such a bad thing after all. Or. The one in which Alec makes up with his mother, gets a boyfriend and adopts a little girl. Just not necessarily in that order.
