And that thin wall she's been keeping in place for years would eventually crack When he didn't answer, she spoke once again "..when you've been so used to the dark that you'll go blind when you see the light?" she whispered, her voice cracking. When he heard this, he kept a forced straight face as if he was restraining himself to just run back to her and assure her that everything was going to be okay.. ..even when its not He stared at her, narrowing his eye ever so slightly, but not moving an inch closer "I.. I can't come with you to the light.." It hurt. Not just because she said so, but also because he KNEW she was hurting..
