She was going to take revenge, she was going to make him regret, she was going to make her father cry right before her eyes! But what if he chose to add more pain to her aching wounds? The day he declared her married to a gateman, the strings left attaching her with him were forcefully cut off. And she was certain even if it would take her till eternity, so long as she stayed married to the gateman, her father would never know what happiness felt like!

SYNOPSIS They thought she will not last She melted his heart He sent her running They paid the price Before he was too rich, now he is royalty Before he had two wives, now there is a royal marriage Too many baggage, too little choice.... ..... When Amal got married, everyone thought she will be divorced the very next day. She has nothing. Not the looks nor prestige. Not even attitude! In a house with two other wives aside from her, even her age is against her. No experience nor wisdom. How can she fight for a place in such a state? To make it worse, Saif Garzali is the heir to the kingdom of Maicki! Amal needs to prove that even though prestige and looks goes a long way in a marriage, even a royal marriage, they don't necessarily give it life. Because when the war of marriage starts, the only trump card is what lies within. ????? This story will delve into some minds of African women and how jealousy drives our women until they crossed a line they might never ever think themselves capable of crossing. It has a fantasy feel though and I hope I will end it as my very own African Cinderella-eish story! Note: All pics were found in Google. Thanks to kannywood celebs!

"A marriage neither of them chose. A chemistry they can't ignore. And a fate neither of them can escape." "You're avoiding me." Yusra froze, fingers tightening around the silk scarf. She didn't turn. "I'm not." Fahad scoffed. "You barely look at me. You barely speak to me." "Maybe there's nothing to say." He stepped closer, his voice low. "You've been acting like I don't exist since the conveyance. If you have a problem, say it." Yusra turned, chin lifted. "Why would I? It's not like you care." His jaw tightened. "You think I don't?" "You don't act like it." Silence. Heavy, charged. Then, before she could move, his fingers brushed hers-a fleeting touch, but enough to send a jolt of heat through her. She inhaled sharply. "You think I don't care? Since when?" His voice was rough, edged with something dangerous. He leaned in, forcing her to look up. "Then tell me why you're shaking." She wasn't. At least, she didn't think she was. But now, with his touch lingering, she wasn't so sure. Fahad's gaze flickered to her parted lips before he pulled back, his restraint like a thread about to snap. "You don't want me to care, Yusra," he murmured. "Because if I do, neither of us will be able to stop what happens next." And just like that, he walked away-leaving her breathless, rattled, and desperate to understand why she suddenly wanted him to turn back.

Shari'a & Shadows series book one A Perfect Match - Law or Love Is a layered, thought-provoking tale set in contemporary Arewa society, where faith, family, and justice are not just ideals-but battlegrounds. Nadia Siddiqui is 23, ambitious, and principled-a newly qualified Shari'a lawyer determined to use the law to give voice to the silenced. But even as she fights for justice in the courtroom, her personal life is unraveling. Her elder sister, Nimrah, returns home broken from a deeply abusive marriage, bearing both physical and emotional scars. Nadia, haunted by the case she lost in court just two months ago, begins to question everything-from the integrity of the system to her own understanding of honor, family, and duty. Amar Shagari is the son of a highly respected Shari'a judge. Educated, eloquent, and widely admired, he walks the line between tradition and reform. But when he meets Nadia across the courtroom floor, he sees a woman who challenges his beliefs and stirs something in him that goes beyond law. Their unexpected intersection-first as legal opponents, then as potential suitors-sets the stage for a battle of convictions, unspoken wounds, and buried desires. As families intervene, secrets unravel, and proposals are made in whispers and expectations, Nadia and Amar must ask themselves: Is love enough to withstand the weight of law, legacy, and loyalty? And in a world where silence is often mistaken for piety, can speaking the truth ever lead to peace? This is a story about women who endure, men who must unlearn, and a love that dares to rewrite the rules.
