After reading The Fault in our Stars, I felt like i had to read AIA. Was mortified to find out it didn't exist. So, I set off to write my own. It may not be the best, but I hope you enjoy my bad writing. Thanks to John Green, Gus Waters, and Hazel Grace. And Peter Houten.

(In this story Gus is alive) By some miracle, Augustus' chemo started to work, and he is now in remission. Hazel got a lung transplant, and no longer needs help breathing. After that one night in Amsterdam, Hazel has been vomiting a lot, and has been acting different. Hazel and Gus go to a doctor and they find out something that will change their lives forever.

What if Augustus never died or, in fact, ever had a relapse of his cancer? What if he and Hazel both stayed alive, even if just for while? Would this perfect couple live a fairytale life together or would they still have their faults?

This is The Fault in Our Stars except that Augustus stays longer than expected and gets to say bye to Hazel. I loved this book and thought it could be better if they got their goodbye. All credit goes to John Green. This story is written in the POV of Hazel Grace. Only in Augustus POV when it is written.

When Hazel wakes up one day with searing pain, the news she receives from her doctor is the last thing she expected. As she ventures on her first adventure without Augustus, she contemplates her life and staying grand.
