Dove Prescott is forced into a dangerous game of cat and mouse after another failed attempt to escape from her boyfriend turned captor. He is trying to rebuild after the loss and isn't looking for anything serious when Dove stumbles into his town. Still, he can't escape the pull towards her, even though she's a human and keeping her around will only cause trouble him and his pack. One moment together ends up being their undoing and now Dove must rely on Rhys to keep her out of captor's hands. But when she discovers the secret of what Rhys is and the truth of their connection, she'll have to decide if she's exchanging one monster for another, and fast. Because in the Wild there are only two options - to be the predator or the prey.
