Hot desert sands and relentless winds across the dunes for as far as the eye can see. Only crashed hulks of ancient starships, and scattered camps and villages to break up the endless hellish expanse of the desert, filled with a reptilian people with no bright future ahead of them but starvation and dehydration. With a few who dream of better. Dream of brighter days beyond the sky. Of a new age where hunting is for sport and the shattered becomes whole. The city's last and most desperate line of defence comes in the form of the Crafters, individuals who can channel the power of fire, though they risk their sanity each time they do. The brightest of these valiant heroes are Tabitha a'Loria and her apprentice Gerald Reath.
