Maybe add a relationship in her new start? Kara Danvers wasn't a reporter. She was Cat Grants assistant at CatCo. Her cousin, Clark Kent (Kal-el), helped Kara rescue the Venture, to then be told Lena Luthor was not on it. Clark being sent to Lena's office to interview her brought Kara along. What happens when Kara and Lena meet for the first time? What happens when Supergirl and Lena meet for the first time?
