"Your not going to die damn it!" I yell, but my heart tells a different story. A sort of calm comes over Valkyrie, and she smiles a sad and tortured smile at me. "Tell the Dead Men I love them," She starts and my breathing gets faster. "Val no-" "And tell Saracen and Dexter to kiss already. It's about time." The water starts to fill in, and Valkyrie strains to keep her head above the water. "I love you Skulduggery Pleasant. I love you so much, and none of this is you fault. Be brave." She whispers, and I bang my fist on the glass. "NO! PLEASE VAL NO." "I love you, I love you, I lo-" and she is cut of as the room is submerged. -----------
