Phil Lester is sweet and cute; known for his kindness and enthusiasm. Dan Howell is a tough, cold outsider; known as the school's stereotypical 'bad boy'. But if he's so bad, then why on earth did he rescue Phil Lester and give him a smile which would melt anyone's heart?

The year is 2020, and everyone is now born with tattoos, a DNA modification made by modern scientists. You could say that the ink is unique; permanently placed on your skin, the first words you hear your soulmate speak.

AU: Everyone is born seeing black and white. You start to see colors when you first kiss your soulmate. Dan and Phil get completely wasted at a club and wake up seeing colors. After a horrible accident, Phil loses his sight and goes completely blind. Dan's help has been amazing to get him through it, but Dan can't help falling in love with his best friend - now in daily need of his care and attention. This story is about love and trust, and how two friends - much more than friends - overcome the odds of a disability, and how they realize that no matter how difficult it gets, they will always have each other. Opis: Dan i Phil - koledzy z ławki. Chłopcy całkowicie różnią się od siebie charakterami i są swoją przeciwnością. Nie przepadają za swoimi osobami, jednak większość czasu i tak spędzają razem. Phil przegrywa zakład w którym musi rozkochać w sobie oschłego, chłodnego i nieśmiałego introwertyka, który nie dopuszcza do siebie nikogo, oprócz swojego smartfona. Życie Dana obróci się o 180 stopni, od pewnego incydentu do którego przyczyni się jego kolega z ławki, oraz paczka niemiłych znajomych z klasy.
