~Complete~ ~Sequel to The Silver Wolf~ It's been three years since Kari and Saden were banished from Konohagakure. They've both matured, and neither hold a grudge towards the Hidden Leaf for the misunderstanding. Together with Telem and Zahra, they've explored many corners of the shinobi lands. But things aren't going so good back in Konoha. Sure, Naruto's just returned from his training trip with Jiraiya, and Sakura's grown strong training under the Lady Tsunade. But Sasuke is still with Orochimaru, and Naruto has vowed to get him back. With the help of his friends, of course. Daken has changed, from a wandering shinobi to a ninja of the Hidden Leaf. But both he and Kakashi have one dream- fix the misunderstanding that made Danzo banish Kari from Konoha. And when Lady Tsunade learns of the misunderstanding, and finds Sarutobi's written thoughts on the matter, she makes a decision. She decides to send a team out to retrieve Kari and Saden, and let them return to the village. Both Daken and Kakashi volunteer, so the squad composed is Team Seven, with Daken and the newcomer Toru, who may or not have malicious intentions. But Kari isn't quite ready to return. Finally, after three years of training, she and Saden are ready to confront Narako and restore Arashigakure to it's rightful glory. So the two, along with their partners, head back in the direction of the Land of Fire, on whose borders the Hidden Storm is located. Ready for the fight of their lives. ~Completed~ This book starts off like your stereotypical sucked-in Naruto fanfiction. Main character has sucky parents (parent- there's only one), and leaves home to explore a forest. She's traveling in this conveniently-placed forest behind her house, and finds a really weird tree. She falls asleep at the base of it and stuff happens. Of course, when she wakes up, she's in the shinobi world. Who would've guessed, right? Not the reader, obviously... But now things get different. She's not anywhere near Konoha, or Suna, or even Kiri! She's in the middle of a random forest, she looks completely different, and she's got new clothes. Oh, and there's an egg in her pocket. The egg hatches into a little dragon, and they wander around the forest together. Until they find a strange cabin, and an even stranger old man. Blah blah blah, stuff happens, and then Orochimaru appears! Along with her long-lost twin brother she didn't even know she had! It's a bit cliche... Kiyomi Himura has a rather large problem. A chakra beast with an earth nature, the wolf named Fenrir, sealed himself inside her at a young age. Originally from Yamagakure, the Village Hidden in the Mountains, Kiyomi had to leave at the age of five when her parents died on a mission. Her brother Kaien took them to Konohagakure, the original home of their parents, and the Hokage allowed them to settle in. Fast forward four years, and now Kaien is dead. He'd attempted the same mission as their parents, and while his team completed it, he died in the process. But Kiyomi isn't alone. She still has her guardian Hachi, a retired Jonin who the Hokage assigned to look after her, considering she was nine. And of course, Fenrir is still there inside her. Kiyomi grows with the Hidden Leaf, knowing all the other would-be shinobi in her class, including Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. But she keeps herself distant, seeing how they treat Naruto, who's also housing a beast. And she stays this way until the graduation. Kiyomi's placed on the five-man team of Team Seven, and has no other choice but to open up to her teammates, and the other graduates. She learns more about her connection to Fenrir, and how to utilize it in a fight, giving her a unique fighting style few others could accomplish. And she may also find romance along her journey of adventure, mystery, and everything else being a shinobi is about! That totally didn't sound cliche or anything... *Quick Author's Note- In this story, all teams will have five members. All canon teams, I have added an OC to. ~SEQUEL TO ANOTHER TAKE~ After leaving Konohagakure, Kiyomi Himura, host of Fenrir, set out first for the mountains where her teacher, Ryuuko of the Sages, dwelt. And there she learned more of his trade, and more about the Elemental Beasts and their place in this world. But she couldn't stay there forever. And after a year of training, Kiyomi set out to explore the shinobi world, traveling in search of a dream she does not yet know. Even more new people to meet, even more enemies to make, and a new story to read. For starting over is just another start, and once again we set off on this new journey.
