Star and Marco were living a normal teenage life until an old enemy of Star's comes back for revenge at the end of their senior year. Forced on the run, Star and the Diaz family are chased across dimension after dimension as they try to take the evil forces down. All the while, Marco is questioning his feelings for Star. This could be their last adventure, will he ever tell her how he really feels?

Marco and Star finish their first year of high school. Summer is just around the corner, so they decide to spend the whole summer together. They're excited to spend the summer as "besties."
