Everly Sapphire is struggling through life. Her mum's gone; her dad's wrapped up in a drinking problem, trying his hardest to be the best he can be even though he's sickened with grief. Everly is alone and slowly resorting to crime, until something conscience changing happens. Now she's crossed paths with an old 'friend' - a Consulting Detective and his blogger, and is thrown head first into a world she thought she'd left behind her for good.
