An unexpected journey - Newt Scamander x reader Hello! I haven't written anything in a while so I might be a bit rusty, but I just watched Fantastic Beasts and it left me with so much inspiration, I just couldn't wait to start writing again. But, after bumping into an odd girl who's got her life planned down to the point and is scared of general human interaction, he's drawn in. But, he's in New York. Not only is it the place he's not supposed to be in, but he's starting to fall for the self proclaimed human biologist. This could be his rise, or downfall. He didn't even exist. He was a fictional author of a book about beasts. He was an odd, quiet, and self kept man that was even more so to muggles. And then, he stood before me in complete glory with a shocked look on his face. I got my one wish, but that could be my demise. ---- (Name) (Last Name) was a Harry Potter fan. Ever since the Fantastic Beasts movie had come out, she was obsessed with the Magizoologist who was smart and introverted. She liked everything about him from his curly hair to his soft blue eyes. Oh, how all she wished was to meet him. But, when a loud crash is heard from her bathroom, her whole world changed. Newt Scamander was in her world, and she somehow needed to keep that a secret. So along came a long journey of battling between the muggle world and the wizarding world. And, with MACUSA on their tails once they find the correct portal, they don't have a single chance. But the more running that the two do together, the more that they grow close. What's worse than a doomed relationship with closed doors?

"Step into my case, I will not have you lose your memory." - Newt Scamander ends up staying longer than he planned in New York, meeting a girl he never planned on. (Y/N) is an ordinary person who works at a bookstore in New York. They had believed in magic their whole life, even though they couldn't use magic themselves, so it wasn't as big of a shock for them as you might expect when they found a wizard in their shop. We do not own Fantastic Beasts or any of its characters, we just own the plot of the story. May contain spoilers, proceed at your own risk.

"Obliviate.." Newt's voice had barely even managed to say the one word while he dared not look at the person his wand was pointing at. This was it. He lost the last person he had ever promised to love. He had obliviated her memory. ------- Newt was always found somewhere near (Name), as long as they were no where in public, that is. He was quiet, she was shy. He was brave, she was utterly scared of almost everything. Nothing could make the two any odder of a couple between their ways. Nothing, except the fact that she was a muggle and he was a Wizard. No matter though, they would pull through, right? Wrong. As soon as MACUSA heard of Newt's relationship with the odd No-Maj, they gave Newt no excuses to let her stay. He had no choice but to Obliviate the girl, and that was the end of their relationship. Flash forward five years later to when Newt bumps into a certain girl working in a small antique shop. But, things take a turn as soon as Tina finds out about the no-maj, and now it's a race between the muggle and the wizards. And then, there's Newt's case which had opened, releasing beasts once again into the city. Between racing to catch the beasts and running from authority, how could Newt ever repair his relationship?
