Ever sense Jack "left" Katherine has been trying to pick up the pieces by herself, all the while caring for her kid and trying to deal with her father. What happens when Jack comes back? Will Katherine's life be complete again? Or will she watch it crumble again like it had nine years ago?

Why was she so scared? Was she afraid of how Jack would react? Maybe she was nervous to tell him because she was afraid of what her father would think. He hated Jack, would this make him hate her too? Maybe she was afraid for herself, maybe she couldn't handle it.
