So, when his manager tells him to lose some weight, it's the last little push that sends him spiraling into a pool self destruction. He no longer sees himself as the golden maknae because you have to be perfect if you want to be golden, and he was the exact opposite of that. It had started off with just wanting to lose a couple pounds, but now Jungkook won't stop until he's perfect.

I let my shirt fall as he brought me into his chest letting me get his shirt soaked with my crying. I could feel him start to rub my back again but I felt as if I wasn't even there. All I could focus on was the fact that I just showed the person that I had such growing feelings for something I never wanted him to know about for the rest of my life.
