Alena Langley has always believed that life in another planet exists. But what she didn't expect was that an alien would visit her anytime soon. On a bright starry night while Alena was looking at the constellations, something big fell from the sky. It turned out to be a spaceship, opening in front of her, revealing a pale girl about her age, the latters skin glowing radiantly, beautifully in the dark. As Alena gazed into the gorgeous girls eyes that reflected the sun with its orange color, she knew in her heart that life would never be the same again.

As we stood outside in the cold, my mind wandered to freshman year, when I promised to help Andy with something and he said that he would hug me, but it would be awkward. I don't think that he wanted me to hear that, but I did and I have thought about it ever since. It had been two years since then, and what I did next I have no clue how I had the guts to do. Hey um Andy," I said hesitantly,"Can I uh.. Hug you?" Ya," he said in a soft tone that I had never heard him use before. Before I knew it, I had my arms wrapped around him, and his around me. I could feel his heart beating against mine, and the warmth of being wrapped up in his arms. Here I was, in the arms of one of my best friends, whom I had feelings for since freshman year, yet reality had set in when I realized that he could never be mine. I liked him. I mean I really like liked him, but he just didn't feel the same way. Will Andy ever like Alyssa the way she likes him, or will Alyssa's feelings ruin their friendship? This is a very short story. After moving to London with her best friend, the last thing Elle expects is to fall for a celebrity - though it may be more trouble than it's worth. ***** Elle Robinson never thought the man she's loved for nearly her entire existence would leave her, but when he does, she sees no other alternative than to run away to London. It wasn't the best laid plan for someone who typically thinks through every little detail, but when she meets screen and stage actor Jude Anderson, who never fails to bring a blush to her cheeks, she believes her life is finally on the right track again - new love included. But no romance is complete without a little drama, anxiety, and miscommunication - leaving Elle to learn how to take her life into her own hands and separate fact from fiction when her relationship hits the public eye. Your destiny is already mapped out as soon as you're born - you just don't get to see it yet. In this era, people are given necklaces at birth. On these necklaces, an empty, corked bottle hangs, and as time goes by, the bottle fills with multicolored sand in a specific pattern. When you come of age, your bottle will fill entirely to the top. The real kicker is, only one other person in the whole world shares the same sand pattern as yourself, and that person is the who you are meant to be with; your soulmate, your other half, your match. Trinity Harpers, a girl who to this point, had been living a life void of interesting stories to tell, has just come of age. And her match - well, he's not exactly the Prince Charming she had in mind. And destiny is a funny thing - it doesn't like to be messed with.
