Every day the bus came by the exact time. 7:14 am. It was always the same. It reminded me that things will never change. Things stayed the same, whether you wanted them to or not. Every day I saw her at the bus stop. She didn't take my bus, but the one after mine. That's okay. I kind of wish I could take her bus, and see where she goes. Not follow her, that would be too creepy. There's a difference between following and watching from a distance. There's a difference between knowing someone by heart, and knowing someone by mind.

{Updates on pause} A murder and someone set on revenge. A princess who has to decide between her heart or her country. A mysterious woman who claims the land will be destroyed. Stolen jewels putting the country on the edge of chaos. An adventure filled with hate, humor, betrayal, action, and most of all, love. Ashen's life is dramatically changed when a fire ruins his home and kills his mother. Set on finding and killing the man who caused the fire, he will stop at nothing; not even a chance to save the country from disaster. Rowena, the princess of Umica, has found out something equally wonderful and dangerous about her kingdom; magic lives in it. She leaves on a quest to save her home from destruction, and at the same time puts others in front of herself. When Ashen and Rowena's lives become intertwined around the same thing; four jewels that can either keep the peace or wreak havoc, the results are huge. Lives will be lost. Hearts will be broken. Ties will sever, and the country will never be the same. * Thanks for taking an interest in my book! Constructive criticism is accepted! I appreciate every single vote I get, it takes two seconds to make my day!! Hope you enjoy!! Consumer beware: some chapters contain large amounts of violence. Read at your own risk. Trigger warnings are in the foreword. {The Best of Watties 2017}
