Her father died when she was young and now she is traveling back to his home town so that her mother can take care of Rebecca, her Aunt's daughter from her father's side of the family. It turns out that her Aunt has been the victim of an animal attack, an occurrence that has begun to happen quite often in this town. Since her Aunt can't take care of her daughter while in the hospital, Serenity's mom has volunteered to do as much as she can, even if it means fully taking custody of Rebecca. Serenity does her best to get situated into her new life but when the people from her nightmares start showing up around her, how will she react? Is it possible she isn't who she thought she was? With all this happening and a romance with the cute and sarcastic Stiles Stilinski, how will Serenity manage to stay sane in a world where her nightmares exist?
