"Anna fell to the ground, smashing her knees on the hard floor. She removed her hands from her ears and started hitting the floor repeatedly. She felt the pain in her knuckles, but kept slamming them against the cold surface. Still screaming, now for multiple reasons, including pain, she felt her hands lose all feeling. Yet, there was still pain. She lifted her hands and held them in front of her tear stained face. They were battered and most certainly broken. They were bleeding and throbbing. Anna smiled..." Meet Anna. No one says her last name, because whenever they do, something bad seems to happen. After her mom died, social services took her to a mental hospital because she had been having these...episodes. No one knows what to classify them as, except for some kind of nervous breakdown or schizophrenic thing. She has seen too many doctors to keep track of and they all come to the same conclusion: Keep her under surveillance and doped up on medication. So that's what happens. She is in an isolated area in the mental ward where she can be "studied." She insists that she's not crazy. She insists that everything that she hears and sees is absolutely real. She stopped telling people those things though, because they would just put her on more medication. Recently she has been hearing the same thing. She calls it "black noise."
