When Kid gets back from an assignment more risky than normal, its very noticeable to the others that something isn't right. something about kid just doesn't seem the same. Maka, Soul, Black Star, Tsubaki, Liz, Patty and professor Stein all team up with the help of others to try and bring back the real Death the kid.

Infection, it could get to anyone. Where it lurks, nobody knows. The only people who know are the ones who wield it, and no one knows who the 'Ones' are. Death the Kid doesn't seem to find that problem, well, a problem. Why? It's only because he's a Shinigami; that's only thing that makes it even more dangerous. The poison that is kept with the wielders is designed to find any Shinigamis that are close by; Death City is perfect for them. Their desire?
