[MAJOR EDITING] Aside from her breathtaking beauty and desirable personality the young spy Isabella Garcia is far from lovely. She's intelligent, dangerous, deadly, and positively any villain's worst nightmare. She's placed on a mission going undercover to win the trust and love of the most feared Don, Lorenzo Russo. Only to take down the powerful mafia he's built from nothing. She's determined to take down the handsome, cold, arrogant boss regardless of the tempting lustful desires. ...Or so she thought after one night takes a turn leading the original plan through stressful obstacles. What will happen when the hate and pretending between the two turns into forbidden love? Who will Isabella betray at the end, her agency or her love? ______ His hand remains on the back of my neck, the cold glass brushing my lips, and I drink. The bitter, acidic, tart fruit flavor overpowering the sweet cake. Lorenzo's light eyes darken with fierce, anger as he watches me swallow the wine then finally parting the glass away from my mouth. The cup almost shattering in his hold before letting it go onto the wooden table. His thumb grazed my lips, staining red with the leftover wine. He scans his finger then brings it to his mouth, his blazing look remaining back on me. My stomach is twisting. My universe is spinning with insanity. He speaks low so only we can hear, "Try that again Isabella and I'll have you wishing I poison you." Started 3/5/21

If you want your wife to look like a fool then congratulations, you've managed that. -To look like a fool?! What about the fool you made out of me when you flirted with all of the men that attended the gala tonight?! -he asked furiously. -You must be joking. This is a fucking joke right? - she said now laughing. She was irresistible. She loosened her hair from her ponytail and now it was falling down her back and front reaching her perfect breasts. -Take off your dress. -he then said with dark look on his face. WHAT, she thought to herself. She looked like she forgot to breathe. -I'm not taking my clothes off, what the fuck is wrong with you?! -she managed to yell. -I'm not going to say it again, you do it or help me God I'll do it and it'll not be nice. -he said while looking at her like she's some kind of prey. **** This is a story about Angie and Jason and their arranged marriage. ||2022 WATTYS WINNER|| A scholar boy who denies the existence of elemental magic. A hidden princess who can control all seven elements. A mystical quill capable of rewriting both of their destinies. In the realm of Rainier where magic should no longer exist, eighteen-year-old Sebastian d'Aximos, a nobody scholar from an insignificant fishing village, finds himself accused by the Salvera Crown for using forgotten elemental magic to murder his own mother. There exists one problem with the Crown's theory, however; magic resides only in the Scribal legends about the Authors of Old, a rare race of humans who controlled the seven elements by weaving elemental threads into storybooks called Monvertas. But the Monvertas are myths; they have never been real. Yet, when Sebastian's soul cries out to the hidden heir of Rainier's Crown, Astrid Salvera, his beliefs in logic and facts are challenged. Because Astrid controls the seven elements, and she and her mother have worked to release magic back to their kingdom since it had been stolen by the enemy lands of Soleita two decades previously. Together, Sebastian and Astrid must work to find a mystical, hidden artifact: the Black Quill. A tool used by the original Author to unlock the Monverta and release its magical secrets. A tool that could redeem the realms of their world and reinstate magic. Ancient myths, prophecies of saviours and villains, and deadly trials by elements awaken to meet both Sebastian and Astrid as they work to unveil the secrets hidden from Rainier and learn the dark truths of each other. **Book 2 OUT NOW!**

Cass has no memories of her parents, only impossible dreams of waves and orcas and, sometimes, her mother's voice. When she and her adopted aunt return to the Pacific Northwest island--where her parents died twelve years before--Cass hopes the place will trigger long-buried memories. Instead, she discovers that the impossible is real, and that history is about to repeat itself. Unless she can stop it. ***Teaser*** The water hit with such a shock of cold that Cass thought she was going to pedal up and out of it again like some cartoon character. Instead, she flailed and splashed and smashed one arm against a piling as salt water poured into her raincoat & filled her shoes. "How do you like it?" Jason yelled. She spun until she could make out his form, black against gray sky. "What?" she sputtered. She dragged one arm from the water long enough to shove wet hair from her face. Jason became clearer: black hair dark above his yellow raincoat, arms crossed over his chest. "What the hell are you talking about?" "I asked how you like it, going for a swim in this water." She was open-mouthed with disbelief. It was a bad idea; a surge lifted her and slapped salt water into her mouth. Bile burned her throat as she coughed and all the while she was still flailing at the water, fighting the drag of shoes and clothes to keep afloat. She should kick them off-that's what you were supposed to do if you fell into the ocean with your clothes on-but she was only a dozen feet from the dock. Besides, it was her only coat. Jason watched her the way she'd watch a barracuda. "I know you're following me." "Following you?" What. The. Hell. She gave a mighty kick and tossed her coat onto the dock. Jason just stood there. "I nearly drowned last week, you know that? Now you show up as if nothing happened." "Last week," Cass said slowly, "I was in Argentina." Whatever he'd seen, it wasn't her.
