A story has been whispered among the lands and kingdoms for centuries. Passed down from generation to generation, master to servant, and has been altered and exaggerated. But the fact still remains, that it indeed happened. A long long time ago, when the lands were filled with laughter and flowed with fresh wine, milk and honey. The great king Erold the IV ruled justly and ensured there was peace between the kingdom of Arnash and her neighboring kingdoms. He was loved, respected, and trusted by all. But in every wall, there must be a crack. Trust was betrayed Loyalty was tainted Love was murdered And the king was assassinated The Defenders were brave they did all they could . BUT- Were was the icelander? Why was the king alone? What happened that night was a complete misery. Not until 19 years later Wait till you turn the next page ...

**2016 WATTYS WINNER FOR VISUAL STORYTELLING** Letting her appearance fall to the wayside and desperate to find a reason for her life, Marilyn sits half naked in an Urgent Care examination room with a mysterious skin itch. If she can survive the humiliation of being treated by a sexy male nurse while unraveling the hidden drama woven throughout the hospital staff, Marilyn might leave the hospital cured far below the surface of her skin. NURSE McSEXY is a hilariously enhanced true story (with a healthy dose of fiction) about my mortifying experience involving an allergic reaction, Urgent Care and a sexy male nurse. It was an evening in which one of my greatest fears was encountered--only to reveal my better self on the other side of humiliation. This humorous tale is definitely worth calling in sick for! TO CLARIFY: Despite the title, this is not a tale about a hot and sweaty romance. I mean--I wish it was since it's based on a true story. Unfortunately (depending on how you look at it), my life is a lot more on the belly laughing side of the spectrum than the steaming up mirrors side. Just saying.

Trapped. Surrounded on all sides by an overpowering barrier visible only to you. A barrier consisting of your thoughts, your dreams, your hopes, separating you from the rest of the world. Thoughts struggling to escape, the memories vivid in your head. You're trying to push back the flood of emotion, trying to break down that wall that's separating you from the judgement that awaits you at the other side. Your fears captivate you and morph you into a new person entirely. Surrounded on all sides and breaking into cold perspiration. Enveloping you is that same fear, gripping at your heart. You stand still hoping for the storm to back down, hoping for another chance. Sooner or later you're faced with reality and you'll know there's no turning back. All that remains is a whisper of silence.

[Highest rank: #1 in expression] I was in a bad place when I wrote these poems. Read at your own risk. Now I just look back and admire my rhyming skills though. All of these poems and quotes are thought up by me. I made them up from scratch and it is completely coincidental if it resembles something you have seen before. I was in a bad place and needed some form of expression. It's pretty much kind of repetitive, but it was just a way to let off some steam. Thank you and enjoy!
