They say that the moment you find the love of your life, you're love-struck. (Few people also say something about 'sparks' or getting lost in the stranger's eyes) I found this to be untrue on the day that I ran into Phil Lester. - Dan's life USED to be normal. Just like any other nineteen year old in London, he lived on his own in a cheap flat, ordered food from every take-out place, and played video games all day when he wasn't working. But when he runs into Phil Lester, who becomes his best friend and more, things change.

Phil goes to a new school after bullying becomes too much at his other. But the negativity that has placed itself in his life suddenly starts slowly drifting away when he immediately meets a new friend, Dan Howell, almost immediately. Their friendship quickly escalates, and leaves Phil thinking that maybe his life isn't so cursed after all.

So we are just two girls, and we love reading Phanfics so we decided to give it a shot! Hope you like it :) "Catch Me Before I Fall" is about two boys just trying to figure their lives out Dan: A 17 year old, new kid at school and very troubled. He is often targeted by bullies and doesn't speak to many people. There's a part of him that even he isn't sure about and tries his best to hide that part Phil: 17 years old, openly gay, has two good friends and his kind to everyone. Despite being gay Phil doesn't get bullied, but that doesn't mean that everything in his life is well, he has secrets at home. Warning: Does contain self harm and violence and suicide thoughts!

Dan is different. He's learned to accept that. Well, as best he can anyway, considering he's never really had much of a choice. It's been this way for as long as he can remember, the constant runaround process of trying to feel normal. His life is built around it, trying to trick both himself and everyone he interacts with into seeing him as your average person. The isolation as he desperately tries to keep others from finding out, the bitterness that wells up inside of him each and every time he's reminded that he'll never be like everyone else, the fear that nothing will ever change. He's fated to be this way forever; a misfit from society. Isolation can only go so far though, so when he's struggling to make ends meet and he's faced with the option of looking into a serious job or taking on a roommate, he opts for what seems like the easier option at the time. It doesn't seem so easy ten failed roommates into the process, or when he sits down at a table to meet with prospect number eleven and ends up with a coffee spilled all over his lap. Potential roommate number eleven, Phil, turns out to be an insufferable optimistic ball of sunshine that Dan wants nothing to do with. His options are running out though, as are the savings he's been using to pay his rent, so he finds himself begrudgingly agreeing to let the other man move in. Neither of them have any way of knowing just what they've gotten themselves into as they shake on the matter, but time will tell.

Dan loves Phil. He has ever since. he set eyes on him on that tiny computer screen in his small bedroom back in Manchester. But Phil doesn't like Dan in 'that' way. Dan tries to make Phil fall in love with him, facing hardships and problems along the way, but how long will it take for Dan to give up? For Phil, to learn to love.

One day when Dan misses his train, he comes home to find Phil talking on the phone. He soon finds out that Phil has a huge secret that he's been hiding all this time. Triggers: boyxboy obviously. I can't say anything else because it'll give the secret away ;) Author note: -
