At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy’s instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea’s forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape? They have no choice. If the demigods don’t succeed, Gaea’s armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.

In the year 2600, the world faces constant threats of invasion from supernatural groups of werewolves, vampires and mermen. Nations build cities within fortified walls in their desperate effort to save the human race from extinction. But after reaching near collapse, the governments finally arrive at an ultimate solution: build an army of teenagers bionically enhanced with the power and abilities of their enemies. Every year, the Council of Nations picks 100 young people from the list of able-bodied prospects submitted by all member nations. Called "Randoms", these teenagers, who are taken deliberately from their families, are put into vigorous trainings to determine the supernatural group they're going to be part of. They are then placed under a transitional stage where they undergo genetic recoding, a process which might be fatal for most of them. Those who survive, undergo the last phase of their training and are sent straight to the battles to fight.

"Ever heard of Sun Tzu?" She asked, eyeing him carefully. He looked up, thought for a moment before replying. "Yes. He was the guy that wrote 'Sun Tzu's Art Of War wasn't he?" The girl smiled. "Well yes, that's correct. But screw him, he knows nothing about war. If there was anyone who did, it's me. And I'm gonna let those bastards know who they're fucking with." ******************************************* In the late 2300s, the United States government declared war on China to reclaim the last of Earth's natural resources. The war lasted years and in 2375, China became a nuclear wasteland, forcing the Mass China Evacuation to take place. Millions of people were evacuated to neighboring countries such as Indonesia and Japan. The story revolves around four Chinese teenagers, who's family and country was brutally taken away from them. Their decision was to save the last of their people and reclaim what was theirs from the Americans. And maybe, just maybe, things aren't what they seem. After all, war is just like a game, it depends on how well you play it, and how many tricks you have up your sleeves. {science fiction #14} {warning: sensitive content and swearing and violence and injuries that can go pretty descriptive. Basically all war content is found. Don't go calling me racist. You have been warned.}
