(closed) i stare at the claw marks on the trees, little signs that there is a past to this land, then i move on. after running for a while, my eyes fall on sand-dusted stone, marked faintly with scratches. i begin to marvel at the view of my home, and the sight of what once was here. i wonder about the history of this land, and what happened here, right beneath my paws.
