A childhood promise beneath Erebor's golden lamps. A betrayal on the day the sky burned. A loved buried under decades of grief. Aeloria walked away from everything she knew hours before Smaug attacked, carrying the sting of hidden of hidden parentage and a heart broken by those she called father. Gandalf found her later, saved her, and years after asked only one favor: keep a hobbit safe on a vague, dangerous road. She never imagined the road would lead straight back to Thorin. Now, traveling unseen alongside the Company with her star-eyed companions - ghostly guardians glimpsed only as distant blue lights and fleeting shadows - Aeloria watches over Bilbo from afar. The Dwarves whisper of legends come alive, unnerved by eyes in the dark, while Bilbo alone senses the quiet protection wrapped around him. As love and resentment slowly collide across the miles, one truth remains: some lights are meant to burn out saving others. 🥇#1 in Thorin 4/10/2024 The reader joins the company on the quest to reclaim the dwarven homeland of Erebor. It becomes much more problematic than your usual adventure wherein the reader is a skin changer with alpha blood that allows her to shift into any creature; all she has to do is merely look at the animal she wants to turn into. Along with this comes soul bound mates-that are a natural thing for skin changers, likewise for the dwarves it is finding their one. How will Thorin behave when he discovers his one in the powerful skin changer? He says he'll wait till the quest is over but can he make it that long? For the reader, it's a whole new journey in more ways than one. Neither parties want to give up their mate as they are only blessed with just one in a lifetime. The reader faces a multitude of questions one of them being what were to happen if she looked up the dragon, Smaug? Read to learn their story... **MATURE READERS ONLY** 18+ Only

"I made a promise to your father before he died in battle, he told me to keep you safe and to stay by your side." "I hope you know that you don't have to keep that, I can hold my own now." Kili gently held my gloved hand. "Yes, but I still intend to honor it... It's a promise worth fighting for." --EDITING-- Just some things to know: ~This story is based on The Hobbit movie trilogy. I use parts of the original scripts from the movies, but I do not own that script and the characters aside from my OCs. ~I do not own the pictures shown in this book. They are most likely from Unsplash, PicsArt, and Pinterest. I will leave credit for the pictures if I find them.

There were many myths about the forest kingdom, whether it was real or not. Some claimed that it's people were immortal while others claim they are the ghosts of the dead. Others said that it's people were of humans, hobbits, dwarfs and elves. It was said it was ruled by a beautiful queen, who wore a dress as white as snow, a crown as pure as silver, with silver eyes as bright as the moon. They say if you whispered her name she would give you the knowledge you seek. But that was only a myth... right? The company of Thorin Oakenshield had been running through a dark forest when suddenly everything around them changed, and in the distance stood a large tree, around it was the most beautiful and peaceful kingdom they had ever seen.
