"I made a promise to your father before he died in battle, he told me to keep you safe and to stay by your side." "I hope you know that you don't have to keep that, I can hold my own now." Kili gently held my gloved hand. "Yes, but I still intend to honor it... It's a promise worth fighting for." --EDITING-- Just some things to know: ~This story is based on The Hobbit movie trilogy. I use parts of the original scripts from the movies, but I do not own that script and the characters aside from my OCs. ~I do not own the pictures shown in this book. They are most likely from Unsplash, PicsArt, and Pinterest. I will leave credit for the pictures if I find them.

There were many myths about the forest kingdom, whether it was real or not. Some claimed that it's people were immortal while others claim they are the ghosts of the dead. Others said that it's people were of humans, hobbits, dwarfs and elves. It was said it was ruled by a beautiful queen, who wore a dress as white as snow, a crown as pure as silver, with silver eyes as bright as the moon. They say if you whispered her name she would give you the knowledge you seek. But that was only a myth... right? The company of Thorin Oakenshield had been running through a dark forest when suddenly everything around them changed, and in the distance stood a large tree, around it was the most beautiful and peaceful kingdom they had ever seen. "Someday you will return home too." Reluctantly, she opened one of the heavy wooden chests. The lid creaked loudly as it flipped back. A dusty cloak. Coins. Letters. Rusty nails. At least a few useful things. She threw the cloak over her shoulders, put the money in her pockets and disappeared outside. Was it worth it? What was still anything worth...? Her hand slid into her leather doublet. She felt something ... soft, very small in her hand. Slowly she pulled it out and eyed it. The little crushed blue flower. Forget-Me-Not. "I will never forget you." She made her way northwarth. Homecoming. The rights of the characters, which I have invented myself and built into this plot, belong to me. The rights of all other characters are owned by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, Peter Jackson, Philippa Boyens and Guillermo del Toro. This fan fiction is not based on the book "The Little Hobbit" by J. R. R. Tolkien, but on the films "The Hobbit" directed by Peter Jackson.

Past slowly begins to fade as Ivy finds herself in a whole new life, living once again among the Elves of Mirkwood as Captain of the Guard. Once again with a familiar wizard, Ivy finds herself going on yet another quest. But this time, there's a big problem...its a quest to save Middle Earth from destruction! But why does this sound familiar to Ivy? Almost like a memory... Will Ivy give into her fears? Will she lose herself on the way? Or will she maybe FINALLY get her happy ending? Sequel to In the End-The Hobbit ~Credit to J.R.R Tolkien for creating this amazing world and story. Credit also to Peter Jackson for turning this great books into one of the best movie trilogies, this of which is what my story is mainly based off. I understand that my story may not line up with Tolkien's history in Middle Earth, this is simply for entrainment purposes. Please enjoy x~
