Picture it. Long Island, NY. The small town is purely fictional (a combination of my hometown and where I went to college). I changed some names. Lily (that's me) meets her neighbor's friend, Pedro Pascal. The story takes place in 2012. I had Pedro have the mustache, as that is the look I like on him.
