This story isn't supposed to be romantic, and it's a very emotional tale. I feel like I should put some sort of trigger warning here, but I also feel like it's unnecessary. It's not a tale of self-harm or suicide, it's simply, or maybe not so simply, a story about a kid who thinks too much and hates herself all too often. No one dies, except maybe a cat, and there will be no true resolution. So, if you're looking for a happy ending, you're in the wrong place, and if you're looking for a tragic ending, please search elsewhere, for these kinds of things rarely end in either of those ways, and sometimes people just have to deal with what they are. This is a Twenty One Pilots based fan fiction, and Tyler and Josh are mentioned and used as somewhat important characters. However, the plot line, and my rendition of them are totally fictitious. Their characters are generally based off of them and their songs because I felt as though the way this story felt reminded me of how their songs feel. In fact, I feel like most aspects of this story are based heavily around their songs and lyrics and how I perceive the band as a whole. The characters, the plot, the setting. All of it is based around the band as a whole, as an idea, as perceived thoughts and as emotions. The initial idea came from the song Car Radio, and the first chapter comes off as a rendition of the lyrics and the way the song feels. That's why I put that specific set of lyrics as the prologue. I hope you enjoy reading it, and I hope I didn't pour everything into this for nothing. If you have any questions, just ask, and I'll try my best to answer.
