Skylar Bennett is going into senior year as the new girl. Uprooted from her hometown, she is dragged to Bradford High school in Florida due to her fathers new job as head coach of the schools football team. Skylar just wants to make it through her last year of high school with no drama, this should be easy; she has no friends, no enemies, no one but her Dad. She should be practically invisible and shes's fine with that. Enter Dean Walker, Bradford's beloved quaterback. Popular, handsome and athletically gifted, Dean turns heads everywhere he goes. He is a true player, on and off the field. With a football scholarship in sight, he is planning on a big year filled with parties, girls and of course football. Skylar's plans of being unnoticed this year are blown out of the water when she meets Dean.

I wasn't different; I was like every other teenage girl at school. I didn't resist the bad boy, the bad-boy didn't resist me. We fell for each other—just like every other bad boy and good girl cliche. But, the thing was, I wasn't necessarily a good girl and he wasn't necessarily a bad boy.
