'I hear Mallory's voice before I see her, and I feel a grin spread across my face as she emerges from the hallway. "Oh, hey Matt, you did make it," she says, throwing me a dazzling smile. I don't know how she does it, but one of those smiles never fails to light up the entire room. Is it any wonder I fall a little bit more in love with her every time I see one?' How long has Matt been in love with Mallory? 'Approximately forever,' according to just about everyone. But he's willing to love her from afar, certain she'll never feel the same... until one fateful night at a Christmas party changes everything. As the "Mattory" craze begins to move from the realm of fantasy to reality, one thing's for sure-at Studio C, things are bound to get ridiculous. And not everyone is happy about it. The first time that Matt Meese and Mallory Everton meet is less than ideal. Matt makes a mistake that might guarantee that the two of them will never be friends. However, they are forced to be co-workers. Mal can't find it in herself to forgive Matt, and even starts to hate him more as they continue to act in sketches together. Matt, however, finds himself falling in love with the spunky, kind-hearted girl. The rest of the Studio C cast plots and schemes to get the two of them together, but nothing seems to work. And then one day, something happens that reminds the Matt and Mallory of the first time they met, and it will either tear them apart forever or give them new hope.
