Sorcery versus technology - which will come out on top?
They say Maria's an angel of death. Bombard her with missiles, drown her in artillery fire, riddle her with bullets from a machine gun - and she'll stroll away without a scratch.
Naturally, she's become rather infamous, particularly among soldiers. She's a regular sight in the conflict zones of the Middle East, and the whispers always follow: "If that angel shows up, we're done for."
Oh, and here's a juicy tidbit for the pub crowd - rumour has it that this mysterious girl, Maria, might just have a connection to that notorious playboy king of Exiastgardsun himself - who else but Nida?
But here's the thing - what on earth is Exiastgardsun, anyway? They say it's a world where magic's as common as a cuppa, and mystical beings roam about like it's nobody's business.
Could it be that Maria's from there as well?
That's exactly what Nida's been trying to figure out ever since he arrived. Word has it, Maria bears a striking resemblance to Nida's late fiancée - a woman named Fia, if memory serves.
But here's the catch - Maria swears blind she's never met Nida, has no clue what Exiastgardsun even is, and insists she's never lived there.
So who is Maria, really? Is she Nida's long-lost fiancée, or something else entirely?
