Jessica Chapmen is an social out-cast, loner, and book lover. She only has on true friend, and spends most of her time just trying to get through highschool, and of course reading. Cody Rickman is Mr. popular, tall, dark, and handsome. He has everything working out for him; friends, grades and having the prettiest girl in school as his girlfriend. But sometimes you just dont know the life of someone you wish too be. You dont relize how good a life you have till you look through the eyes of some one whos hiding behind a secret.

The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London.
