Beneath the eyes of the Exalted Celestials there are no immortals within the mortal realm. Beneath the eyes of this Eternal... Nothing is eternal for all is but an everchanging dream with the state of dreaming being the only thing that is considered everlasting. Heaven and earth... A man-made concept that holds no affections and merely toys with the hearts and lives of the myriad lifeforms that live within it... What meaning is there for the myriad lifeforms to bow to it? Reincarnation... So long as reincarnation exists in this world not a single lifeform may hope to obtain immortality. To be an Eternal one must sever themselves from the very concept of living. I alone am a being that has transcended the infinite cycles. Should I will it so I may easily drain the Yellow Springs of its escorting waters and allow this world's reincarnation to cease. Ghosts may wail, spirits may cry, demons may curse, beasts may howl, mortals and immortals alike may be damned for all that rests between this plane of heaven and earth must face a merciless tribulation.
