Book 2 Katniss and Peeta have managed to survive the hunger games. But what the Capitol will throw at them next will require more then just wits and cunning. Book 3 You can only live with half of yourself for so long before you break. . or at least that's what people have been telling her. What if Katniss had fallen in love with Peeta? What if the night the Quell was Announced, Katniss ran to Peeta's house after talking to Haymitch instead of her own? What if the events that night left Katniss pregnant and awaiting a fate that could end in a birth in the arena? Those are the what if's I've always asked myself while reading the hunger games series. I think it's time those questions were answered. Katniss Everdeen has found herself in a situation that is a danger to her and the ones she loves. Ever since she pulled out those berries, President Snow has been a looming threat. When the Quarter Quell announces that she will be forced to repeat the Hunger Games again, she finds comfort in the arms of her star crossed lover, the boy she's turned away from, the boy she's grown to love. But when she finds herself pregnant, Katniss can only wonder how she can get both Peeta and their child out alive, Even if it means her own life.

When our eyes met, the memories all came rushing back. From throwing her the bread to saying goodbye at the Lightening Tree to the red plaid dress on the first day of Kindergarten. I remembered it all so much clearer, the shiny memories seemed to fade to so much dimmer terrors. But she's nearly dead. How can I convince her to go on, that life is still worth living. How can I reignite the fire that burns in the eyes of Katniss Everdeen, the girl who was on fire, without getting burned in the process. (My second After Mockingjay story. I just want to make one a little more true to the books. This is not discontinuing Help Me Make It Through The Night and Here I Go Again. I just want to write a different view of what could have happened.)

Katniss is going home after 3 years, waiting for District 12 to be rebuilt. Her mother committed suicide a week after Prim died. Katniss was alone. The only thing that was keeping her alive was Peeta. The urge to feel his soft lips against hers. Just to be in the presence of him. She hasn't seen him since the rebellion, but her plans of loving Peeta will be cut short when she gets home. You have to read the book to find out what happens next.

After the Victor's tour Katniss finds out she's pregnant with Peeta's baby. The bad part is that the Quarter Quell, 75th games, are supposed to happen while she's pregnant and almost due. WARNING: THIS STORY WAS WRITTEN WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG. THE STORYLINE DOESN'T REALLY MAKE SENSE AND ITS POORLY WRITTEN -> I am very slowly working to rewrite this and will hopefully someday be able to update it into a better story for those who enjoyed it. Chapters 1 & 2 are updated and these versions are at the end of the story until I can redo it all

I wrote this when I was very young so... Do with that information what you will. Katniss is lonely since the war ended, she is depressed even more since Peeta planted the Primrose because she hasn't seen him since. He's shut himself up in his house.
