I said these three things in my head over and over again as I kicked pebbles along the road, walking to my best friend Rosie's house. I walked up the path to the door and pulled my jumper down over my hands to get warmer as I knocked on the door. "Haz!" Rosie screamed and pulled me in for a hug, it felt right with my arms around her. I couldn't ask her yet. Age 15: "Don't forget me," she whispered, looking down at her shoes, as a warm tear rolled down her face and splashed onto her collar. "I won't babe."
