Willow ascends into what she believes is an answer to prayer, leaving the harsh realities of the world below behind her. But when she arrives onboard Proc 1, nothing is as it seems. She's quickly indoctrinated into the system by her mysterious rescuers, only to learn that she's been promoted to Lead Physicist in the NAMOS program-BioTic Corp's Top Secret protocol on genetic decomposition and mutations. The name on file is not her own, but someone else's. Cloaking herself in this new identity, she marvels at the vastness and complexities of the first floating civilization. Right now, I'm squatting in a pile of human waste, desperately trying to get a signal on my phone. My friends are watching me reluctantly, their faces stained with blood and what I only hope is dirt. The light from my phone is illuminating their faces, casting light on the looks of horror that I have come to know all too well. My best friend is cradling her left arm, bandaged with a torn piece of cloth in hopes of stopping the blood flow. My sister can barely walk, and I think her hand is broken. She looks on the verge of tears. As we calm down, catching our breaths, I give up looking at my phone. I slowly turn to them, my own face crusted with blood. I look at each of them, one by one. "Ok, who got bitten?"

Jonas has lived alone in an apocalyptic Chicago, full of people infected with a Plague known as Plague 15-07 for about seven years. But now, the stakes are higher than ever, as he discovered a note that fell off of a building, giving him a few clues about the deadly plague ravaging the world. Join him in his battle against the Plague that will leave you guessing at every turn! EXCERPT: He now lay flat on his back, surrounded by the Plague-Ts, one woman and two men, who were mostly naked, because their clothes were ripped to shreds. They were also caked in blood and vomit, but their skin was pale and they hadn't seemed to have eaten in days. Jonas nearly looked exactly like a Plague-T at first glance, but he was far too healthy to be one. Highest Ranking: In the 300s
