When Justine DeMont's Mom told her that she is sending her across the country to live with her Dad a week before her senior year, she thought she was dreaming. Is she really escaping the hell she lives in? A place where she is bullied by her classmates and neglected and abused by her mom. Hopefully she can coast below the radar at her new school, maybe even make a friend. When she arrives in Bentley she is overwhelmed with how happy her Dad is to have her live with him.
