As her sister and mother contemplate leaving and her father adamantly refuses to leave his kin behind, Quail Feather begins to fear that whatever choice she makes will be the wrong one. But when a massive group of rogue cats begins to threaten both sides of the lake, all of the Tribe cats will have to come together to fend off this new threat. As her and her Tribemates fight for territory, food and survival, Quail Feather must discover who she is as a cat and what her purpose is as a member of her Tribe. Is she a healer? Is she a warrior?
