However, Antarctica has it's own problems. A ranking system like a game. It determines your perks, your rank, your job, your future. Just like a game. But it's not a game, and Candace Parry knows it, though she has submitted to the illusion that she is at least safe within the walls of the Taomiene Pod. But it's not a game. No one is safe in Antarctica.

At Kadic Academy, Aelita is visited by her father and warned off a pending attack on Earth. The next day, monsters from X.A.N.A. roam the area, attacking anyone and everyone. Escaping from Kadic, the Lyoko Warriors are attacked by a new enemy on Lyoko, who has the ability to take control of the Warriors. Back on Earth, Sissy and Jim unite, while trapped, to try to defend the students from the monsters for as long as possible. When the end is near, secrets will be revealed, love and loss will engulf all Lyoko Warriors, and fear will be met face to face.
