In the year 2325, the world is at a loss -- poverty littered the planet and the few cities still habitable were overpopulated. Earth wasn't the only planet like this. Venus, Mars, and planets out of the solar system were just as (if not more) run down as Earth -- all thanks to the Universal War two hundred years ago. The ones in power now were only after one thing -- immortality. They thrived off of the life source of others, constantly absorbing the energy from species all around the universe. It's up to six unlikely strangers to come together to change the universe and protect the souls of the ones they love.

Sixty orbits have passed since the faeries lost the Great War against the mortals and were pushed to the brink of extinction. Those that remain inhabit the Holókaustos, trapped by a curse, rotting away between this world and the next. That is, until a bastard halfling with something to prove concocts an escape plan involving a girl born of mortal blood and magic. ☆☆☆ A girl with a peculiar pedigree is dumped on a stranger's doorstep during the worst snowstorm the hamlet Myst has ever known. Selectively mute, she refuses to tell her hosts from whence she came and her name. For lack of knowing what else to do, the crotchety old woman and her grandson Mat grant her sanctuary and take to calling her Snow. But her very existence disrupts their daily lives. The mystery comes to a head when a dead man is discovered in the front yard after the first serious thaw. Strangers turned ragtag confidants, they dispose of the body. Orbits pass without incident, slackening their resolve to keep the girl their best-kept secret. When Mat introduces her to an old friend with his own dangerous secret, he threatens all they hold dear. The world's suddenly at their door, and it quickly becomes clear that Snow's meant for greater things. A story of loss, friendship and all the grit in between. #15 in fantasy | December 2018 #10 in adventure | December 2018 #4 in world building | December 2018 #1 in speculative fiction | December 2018 #2 in quest | September 2018 #3 in fairies | September 2018 #7 in scifi-fantasy | September 2018 #123 in new adult | August 2018 #183 in fairytale | August 2018 #2 in human experimentation | July 2018 First installment of an intended series. In the city of Baltimore, where the streets wind like forgotten melodies, a group of children discovers an otherworldly secret. Their lives revolve around their bicycles, and their MP3 players provide the soundtrack to their adventures. But one fateful day, the music in their earbuds completely changes. As the children pedal through the streets, they unravel the threads of fate and a mystery that risks reshaping reality. Their journey becomes a harmonious blend of courage, fun, and the magic of friendship. This is a story of Unknown Songs. Note: This novella is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual events or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Except for that one guy, that one means to resemble someone. :) However, the character's specific opinions are fictional and within the context of this story.

It has been over a year since the murder of his wife, Lily, and James Potter wishes every day that it is simply a nightmare that he will wake up from. Unfortunately, it isn't and in the wake of her death, James finds himself as a single parent to their son, Harry. The Boy-Who-Lived is known all around the wizarding world as the one to defeat Lord Voldemort on the same night that Lily was killed as the proclaimed "Dark Lord" attempted to rid of the child as well, yet failed. However, James is just trying to do his best in raising Harry in the most normal fashion as he can possibly muster but it's not easy. With one of his former best friends in Azkaban for the betrayal to the Order and his two remaining best friends not on speaking terms, James finds himself drowning in stress. Yet, relief comes in the form of a young woman, named Renata, and their first encounter is nothing short of a chaotic mess. But at the same time, it's the first thing that's made James laugh in months.

This is the original, unedited version of Light as a Feather, Book #1. This book was the inspiration for the Hulu Original Series. The revised version is now available in bookstores throughout the USA & Canada from Simon Pulse. McKenna Brady thinks her junior year of high school is going to be the best ever when she's welcomed into the elite group of popular girls at Weeping Willow High School led by blonde, gorgeous Olivia Richmond. Prior to junior year, McKenna was known in her small town as the girl whose twin sister died in a tragic house fire, and she's overjoyed at the prospect of redefining her identity. She has a date to the Homecoming dance with Olivia's handsome older brother, and a good chance of being elected to student council. For the first time since McKenna's parents divorced, things are looking up. But everything changes the night of Olivia's Sweet Sixteen sleepover birthday party. Violet, the shy, mysterious new girl in town, suggests that the girls play a scary game called Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board, during which Violet makes up elaborate stories about the future ways in which beautiful Olivia, brassy Candace, and athletic Mischa will die. The game unsettles McKenna because she's already escaped death once in her life, but she doesn't want to ruin her friends' fun. It's only a game, she reminds herself.
