After a tiresome mission Wally tries to rest, but when his father comes home it all goes wrong.

The crysalyst has just been neutralized, but at a terrible price. The earth is safe, but it is no longer whole.

Wally's parents are in town and Wally is found in their home unconscious. Robin had known something was up and decides to try and help the teen as much as he can.

This Story is based off of the show Young Justice. It does not follow the story line completely and I'm fairly certain there aren't any spoilers. If you don't like it, please, give me a vulgar or insulting comment. I honestly do enjoy reading them. This story is about the abuse of Wally West (Kid Flash) by his father. Read my story. Or don't. In my other fanfiction site, I wrote a 'Wally abused fanfic' called A Dark Secret. I decided to write it here too. Wally's father abuses him. Thank god for speedster healing, or Wally's secret would not be so secret. For 12 years this has been happening, ever since his mother left them and his father became an alcoholic and took drugs. But what happens when Robin begins to catch on? Wally has been acting strange, and he's going to get to the bottom of this. It's what best friends are for, right? Can he help Wally? Or will his father and an unexpected enemy kill Wally and Robin before it's too late? Warnings: Child abuse, mild language.

"What shocked me were the already fading bruises on his arms and face, and the tears streaming from his eyes. 'What happened?' I demanded, moving so he could sit next to me on my bed. He stood there for a second, almost like he was fighting with himself, before giving in and collapsing on the bed. 'M-my parents.' Wally stuttered softly, more tears welling in his eyes."
