A doll's awakening. Airship pirate raids. A lonely steam powered robot. A frustrated inventor. A kraken discovery. This is my first Steampunk story, and my second attempt at writing poetry.

Charley is a 17 year old boy who lives in the 19th century. After his father, Claude died from what the police think is a heart attack, Charley was devistated because his mother was died after he was born and now had no family left. One day when Charley was cleaning out hid father's things, he found a leather journal with a gold plated sine that stated,"clergyman finds." What does this strange journal mean?
