As I looked back to see Edward staring at me. I walked closer knowing what I had to do. This would be heartbreaking. But I had to do it. For his reputation. When I reached Edward my palms started to get sweaty. "Mae...I called you here because I love you, A boy like me falling for a girl like you. My body is filled with tattoo's and piercing's, while your petite, gentle body is ink-less and pierce-less. I've had a rough past, I'm not saying your's is rough too. You had to work double just to pay for your clothes. You have it much ea-" I cut off Edward. I know this would be the last time I would feel his lips against mine's. Before I knew it, it was over. We were not staring into eachother's eyes. "Edward I can't do this...." I looked down and started to find the floor of the eiffel tower interesting. "Mae...What do you mean..you can't do this?" "I can't do it. We don't deserve eachother. We both are different people. You deserve someone who is your type. I'm not your type." "But...Mae..We were meant for eachother." "No Edward we arent. That's why we are such different people." I look at Edward. He was avoiding my eye contact. He was looking everywhere else except me. I shifted closer and lifted Edward's face to mine. "Someday, our paths will cross and as our eyes meet, our hearts will too. And when that day comes, I swear I will never let you go, ever again." "This is the day Mae. You just can't let everything go. Not now. After everything we've been through." "I'm so sorry Edward." As you turned around and started to walk away. The wind started to blow and your safari tail dress started to flow with the wind. As you looked back Edward was no where to be seen. He left. You weren't look where you were stepping and as you tripped you closed your eyes knowing this was your last moment. As you fell you grabbed a pole. You heard someone scream and that was it. You resented what you just did.

They say in life there are no second chances. But what if you had blown it with the girl of your dreams? What would you do knowing that she was out there, in other realities, realities you hadn't screwed up? That kind of thing could really mess you up... and it could make you do "some crazy." Down-on-his-luck David Blunt is as loser as a loser you can get; recently kicked out of school and fired from his dead end job, David's been squatting in his flop-house apartment, avoiding his landlord and subsisting on stale fortune cookies and cheap street meat for weeks. But when David reads a fortune that predicts an epic future for him, he starts to think that his luck is about to change. Emma Gossett is a spirited world traveler full of wanderlust, and never stays put in one place long enough to form any attachments. Her lovable and eccentric Gran insists this is because she was hidden from the Norns as a babe to keep them from naming Emma's fate, a fable Emma puts little faith in. But when Emma meets David, her faith in reality is shaken to the core. Does this rambling cynical romantic hold the answer to the prevailing sense of déjà vu she's been feeling lately? Or is it just something else, as her new and mysterious and magnetic acquaintance Gabriel insists? Perhaps he holds the key to the mysterious sensations she has felt of living another life alongside her own. All Your Fates is a multiverse mindwarp with supernatural elements that one reader commented: "This story is twisting into ways a pretzel couldn't even try!!"

"I don't feel anything towards Dylan Miller." Leela nodded, combing through the messy knots in my hair. "Whatever you say." "I'm serious!" "Look, just try not to move so much this time," she said, making me feel happy as she dropped the subject. "And stop blushing too." - Eight Letters. Three Words.

Chosen as one of Publishers Weekly's Best Books of 2016 ** In 1959 Cuba, Natalia San Martín was nothing short of a princess: sheltered, pampered, and courted by her very own prince, a childhood friend turned lifelong love. All that changed on the fateful New Year's Eve when Fidel Castro and his followers seized control of the country, with tragic consequences for not only the island, but Natalia herself. Five years later, in 1960s New York, she's known as Natalie Martin-living a life that's bleak, but thankfully anonymous. However, when the enigmatic Jack Roemer offers her a job writing the memoir of a starlet on the brink of self-destruction, she sees not only opportunity, but unexpected echoes of a fairytale long forgotten. As she knows all too well, however, the prettiest façade can hide the ugliest of truths- and peeling back the layers of someone else's past forces Natalie to confront her own.
