All Maddie Clare ever wanted was to be normal. She spent her whole life making sure she fit in with the popular crowd. She bought all the right clothes, talked to all the right people, and even steered clear of making enemies. And it was all thanks to Paige. Paige Turner was everybody's favorite person. She was everything you'd want in a best friend - and that's exactly why Madison sought her out. Maddie needed a lot of help, and if anyone could help her, Paige would be the one to do it. Paige turned Maddie into your everyday good girl. She kept Maddie away from the wrong clubs, made sure she maintained flawless grades, and went through great lengths to get her the perfect boyfriend. But Paige had secrets, many of which she kept from Maddie. While Paige may have given Maddie the perfect life, her own had a shady past and a not-so-happy future. All of this is revealed to Maddie when Paige goes missing. Now she has no one to rely on. All Madison has now is detached personality and a ratty old journal that Paige hid in a secluded attic. However, that ratty old journal just might be what Maddie needed all along as she digs deeper into Paige's search for sweetness. Copyright ©2014 [cover by fartette]
