I wasn't too young to have an overactive mind and thoughts flowing through like a slide show, but I needed to let it all out. It was suffocating and I was choking on unspoken words, hidden feelings and masked emotions. Stained sheets became my therapy. And they were my therapist. This is a story of a girl named Anisa. She is a Hausa Muslim girl from the northern part of Nigeria, Katsina. Her father has two wives and her mother turned out to be the second wife. She is the only one her mother gave birth to, she has 5 siblings from her stepmom. She had to face a lot of challenges in her life because of what destiny chose for her. She will end up with a man she never dreamed of marrying but turned out to be the one she loves more than her life. This book is a work of fiction. Whoever happens to be in the same condition to this story, then it happens to be a coincidence. I'm not trying to imitate anyone.
