My opinion of What should have happened in the season 5 mid season finally if the writers were thinking straight!!! It's not just an alternate ending but an alternate beginning. Daryl and Beth might get together. Somehow in this messed up world these too very different, very great characters have found each other. Each has come to have feelings for the other, now they just have to figure it out themselves. Read to see if love can survive the apocalypse, while many people wont. It's my first Fan Fic please be nice and comment! I like feedback :)

**This story will branch off of the season 5 midseason finale.....only this time, Beth survived.** Beth Greene, an innocent young girl, was viewed as weak and uncapable to survive in this apocalyptic world. Throughout her journey, she has learned new skills that have made her grow as a survivor, and she wants to stay alive. After her father's death, the emotions Daryl and her went through, and the imprisonment at the hospital, she must learn to never let her guard down. *I do NOT own any of these characters. All rights belong to AMC and The Walking Dead. I plan on branching out my own story on this, but some scenes relating to the comic and TV show may make an appearance, but with an added twist*

The mid-season finale crushed me. In my mind, this is what happened when Daryl and the others finally rescued Beth and Carol from the hospital.

Beth is still alive! In this story Beth only got shot in the shoulder but bled and almost died! Beth and Daryl had a kid named Emily and became a family but still carols alil mad.
