Each stood at the peak of their worlds-until both games were shut down. But when the servers went dark, neither Momonga nor Sauron logged out. Instead, they awoke in a new world, their avatars now their true forms, their powers intact, their kingdoms carried with them into an unfamiliar reality. As the Great Tomb of Nazarick rises once more and the dark towers of Mordor smolder with renewed strength, the land trembles beneath the weight of two tyrants. The world is no longer ruled by light and hope-for now, two ancient evils walk it again.
