Romantic Comedy. James Heart is a highschool student who is 'cursed' to have attractive friends who have always out shined him. Girls often come to him for advice as to how to win his friends over, but no one would ever dream of dating him. Due to his passion for encouraging people with broken hearts, he has been given the nickname of "Heart Mender". But how will things change for James when one girl he helps decides she wants to help mend his heart in return?

Makoto had always loved video games, so when his sister Miku asked him to teach her about MMO's he jumped at the opportunity. When Kayaba Akihiko announced the first ever VRMMORPG to be played on the Nervegear, both Makoto and Miku jumped at the opportunity to get copies. When Miku's copy failed to arrive, Makoto graciously offered to let Miku try his copy first. Unbeknownst to either of them, once one entered the world of Sword Art Online, they would never be able to log out again until all 100 floors of Aincrad had been defeated. Tortured by what he did to his sister, Makoto takes a dangerous gambit in order to get her back. But with a dark supernatural force on the loose in New York City, there may be more at stake for Michael and his employer than just job security! ~~~ A multi-part short story, serving as a prototype for the future web-serial "Mortality", the episodic adventures of the Grim Reaper and his assistant. While this story is not as well-researched or polished as I hope for the actual series to be, it does give something of an idea of what I'm going for character and story-wise. There are things that Áine Tracey knows about her family. She knows that the family legacy is a long, bloody one, and that her father holds New York City's drug trade in two tight hands. The interruptions and snooping of mediocre reporter Laslo Hugh is just one more annoyance she's determined to solve. Laslo, however, has other plans -- the Tracey family is a black hole of secrets just waiting to be uncovered, and he intends to be the one reporter they can't buy off, blood curses and bleeding girls be damned. Their investigation leads them into the events surrounding the curse as the death toll spikes, and in the end, Áine may be forced to take family matters into her own hands.

He needs only to convince the seven other lords to unite under one king- under himself as king. Elkay finds that he desires the crown of this new kingdom more than any other treasure in the world. To get it he lies and even finds ways to eliminate those who stand in his way. As Elkay grows older and falls deeper into the pit of arrogance, his kingdom slips further from him. In the end, Elkay may discover too late that pride and lust for power will destroy those things dearest to him.

Anika finds there is much more to puddle jumping than she previously thought when she accidentally jumps into a puddle that is actually a wormhole and is transported to an entirely different universe.
