You watched the man that had the fate of your life in his hand. You were beyond scared. the man in front of you was handsome yet fatal. His face was something you've never seen before but the shiny contraption in his hand snapped you out of your thoughts. "I DONT LOVE YOU & I NEVER WILL!" You shouted at the top of your lungs, all of sudden becoming brave. Once you saw his face, you regretted your bravery. "Take it back." He whispered while holding the gun up to your head. In this Coming of Age story, four teen rebels from different walks of life embark on a journey of self discovery, brotherhood, and manhood when they go on a street robbing hiatus; each telling their own unique life stories from different point of views while growing up as a American teenager in the 1980s. Warning, Viewer Discretion is Advised. This book is rated PG because it's a teen fiction, coming of age story; but it may contain mature elements such as violence, sexual content, drug references, and graphic language, including mentioning of sensitive topics such as abuse, mental illness, racism, and homophobia. I strongly advise not to read if you are easily triggered. Remember this is a work of fiction, and not to be taken literally. This story does not depict any actual person or event. All the characters are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons living or dead is purely coincidental. Negativity will not be tolerated and will be blocked, if you do not like something in this book just simply discontinue reading but leave negative comments to one's self. Please no self promotions. cover by @pacifyherafi / nicole "Sure, maybe the urban Boston wouldn't be completely socially aware, but they'd at least have some idea of how to treat us like we were all the same. So, we were packing up our bags, and I was going to a new school, and I'd do fine as long as I stayed away from those white boys." - - - Robin Skye was packing her bags and (hopefully) moving away from the racial discrimination she's had to face in Georgia. Of course she was guided by her mother and father to stay away from the source of the racism - white boys. But, River just couldn't stay away from her. NOTE - - - do not read this if you know you won't agree on the ways that this book touches on racism because you will get your feelings hurt !!
