It all started with a trip. Sherlock had been acting weird, and everyone thought he was just stressed, so he and John go on a trip to Fiji. Yet, what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation from the stresses of detective work only opened the door for much more stress and confusion when John begins to have strange feelings around his colleague, Sherlock Holmes. And Sherlock is still acting strange.

One day while John naps, Sherlock gently kisses him on his lips, unaware that John is actually awake and that this single gesture will cause everything John has known to be questioned. I just want to say that I haven't read this in YEARS (I was probably in junior high or high school when I wrote this) and I noticed all the comments in the story and I want to apologize for any harm I've caused. I didn't realize at the time that this was non-consensual and I'm sorry for that. I didn't have a good grasp on that type of thing yet but now that I do, I cringe looking back on this!
